Hey y'all
*that's a bit less of an epic fail*
so this time of year is usually time for two festivities Rakshabandhan and Eid
Lets start with Rakshabandhan, if you have no idea what it is, it is the day the sisters tie a string adorned with beads and gems on their brothers to keep them safe for the next upcoming year and in return the brother usually gives them money or gifts, well since i am the brother here are three cards i am sending abroad for my four amazing sisters
i kept the same idea throughout, with the butterflies and the string work on the side
this blue card is for my two adorable cousin sisters Gurnoor and Jasnoor, the camera didn't really pick up the hand but it stands out a bit more than in the picture
This is the card i made for my cousin Simran who is my dads, sisters daughter
And finally this is for my other cousin sister on my dads side Kiran, she is my grandads, brothers grand-daughter and an amazingly talented henna artist check her out on rayoflighthenna or contact her on facebook, her facebook name is Kiran Chana Henna
so i had tried henna on a card with acrylic, ..... thank god nobody will ever see it because i am better with brushes ..... a lot better
Then to all my Muslim readers Eid Mubarak, well it's time to celebrate, so here are two cards for the two of my Muslim friends Sumeiya and Jaaziyah
so i made this one for Sumeiya, it is inspired by the work of Audrey Kawasaki except im not as food as she is
and this one is for Jaaziyah, the funny thing is the red piece in her hair is an earring my sister was about to get rid of, hows that for recycling worls :D
i know its hard to see her face in the picture but it actually is very clear
i just realized i forgot to wink wink nudge nudge on the last update so here it is twice to make up
wink wink nudge nudge ;)

My Birthday... oh and the mosaic
Wattsup Dawg .... *EPIC FAIL*
anyway, lets get started, on my last school day there was the unveiling of the mosaic in our school, it was a charity piece we made for Gertrude's hospital here in Kenya, it took literally FOREVER, breaking tiles and sticking and all that stuff anyway this was the finished product and since me and one of my best friends was in charge .... lets say it could have looked better
yes i know there were only two guys there but it was so funny because we just sat there and watched the girls at each others throats about if she wears foundation or not
pointless but funny, i mean who cares if she wears foundation or not, well girls always need an excuse to rip each others throats out
anyway that was the piece and our theme was elephants, i worked mostly on the swirly designs and the elephants ear to give it shade, that was pretty much it :D
Oh and can you see the girl with the headscarf, she is so awesome, she baked me a cake for my birthday and i was like all aaaah, we shall see those pics now
yeah then she like force fed me cake, if you know me i hate hugs and force feeding *i know it doesn't look like it* and this somehow reminds everyone of Sheldon cooper from big bang theory... i still do not see it
this is Sarik holding the daughter of one of the officials of the mosaic he was the only one she let carry her, i know i scare children which is a bummer cause i love kids
and that's jaaziyah, we tried taking so many pics but i looked like this *failed face* but yeah at-least we have a pic now
this is the cake, i cannot really read the happy birthday written on top but this is so typical of Sumeiya, she's like my sister in stupidity, we have more blank moments than anybody else in the world, yes i know we are weird
That's not all folks
this is all that was left of the cake
and this is the culprit responsible for such a vile crime
evidence ..........
then krupa, *another friend* made me cupcakes, they so colorful no!
yeah and that's krupa but we all call her kookie
as Paula dean would say *thanks y'all*
wink wink nudge nudge ;)

Father's Day Cupcakes
Hey people, am back (FINALLY)
yes i have been gone for long but am back with all new crazy stuff *literally* well here are the cupcakes i made for fathers day
so all i actually did was the icing of course, and i took small rectangles of card-stock which ithen taped to toothpicks and wrote out what i wanted with white gel pens, I was planning to ice the letters onto the cupcakes but that i felt was a bit too common, *creepy troll thing voice* me lyk be dif-e-went
yup that's my dad, and if you live in a paji family you know when it's a celebration everyone has a sweet tooth, i mean literally the number of Indian sweets we eat it's no wonder most of us suffer from high sugar ..... but what can you do they are just so damn good
oh and we also got him this really adorable mug written *you cant always get what you want* in the same writing as the cupcakes, it was awesome
wink wink nudge nudge ;)
